Our focus is going to be on the
retired and the nearly retired. It will explore
areas of health care not often touched by the
allopathic (traditional, medical school) approach to
healthcare, i.e., alternative, complimentary,
integrative medicine.
We will question the status quo. Why
do we succumb to the chemical companies (drug,
pharmaceutical companies) who often extract from a
natural botanical very small percent of it’s
essence, then reproduce it chemically (artificially)
so it could be patented. Natural items, like plants
themselves - could NOT receive a patent.
Because of the very nature of drug making, the
testing process to establish both efficiency
(effectiveness) and safety had to be both long and
expensive. This system, when applied to simple cures
from nature would have to go through the very
expensive routines as the artificially created
patented drugs, although the patent, there will be
no testing and no approval.
